fall quarter starts exactly one month from today.
8:30 - 9:20 ASTR 101 astronomy (5)
9:30 - 10:20 PHIL 241 topics in ethics (5)
10:30 - 11:20 MUSIC 331 history of jazz (5)
11:30 - 12:20 MATH 098 inter algebra (0)
im kinda pissed about having to take math 98 and NOT get any credit for it, especially seeing how i got almost 700 on the math portion of the SAT last year. but WHATEVERRRRRR. i guess it's aight since i haven't been in a math class for what, 5 years now? definitely hyped about the other 3 classes. exactly 2 years from now i'll be entering my senior year.
i've also been coming up with plans for graduate school / getting my masters degree. as of late, my plan is to work for Teach For America, which sends qualified, just-graduated college professionals to inner-city middle schools to teach in the math and science departments. i'd definitely do science. there's a few schools in Bronx, NYC, that i'd be more than willing to teach for. the program is a 2-year commitment, which would give me more than enough time to work on my masters degree. aaaand the salary for teaching in Bronx schools starts at around 42K. teaching is 9 months of work. apartments are 1K-1.5K/mo for a decent Manhattan studio. sooo after rent and taxes, i'd have around 14-24K for miscellaneous bills and spending money.
sounds like a great friccan idea to me, seeing how i'm currently making 16K before taxes, 13K after, and have to pay around 8K in bills each year.
i'm definitely looking forward to graduating. if i went with that program, i'd work at the middle school in the early daytime and have enough time to study and write my papers for graduate school in the afternoon and evening. on the weekends i'd probably work for the NY Philharmonic. hellooooo public speaking and resume. i'm pretty friccan amped already.
in other MORE EXCITING news, i have new hair :D
i've turned into a major nerd. moreso than before. i dont have any of my ladies to hang out with. Lydia moved to AZ, and Nastassja is visiting her family in Wenatchee. i have the ENTIRE apartment to myself for the weekend. so what do i choose to do last night (saturday) after i got a sweet ass free makeover at MAC and bought new earrings? i went to barnes and friccan noble and ate cheesecake while reading books on philosophy.
holy shit.
in conclusion, i'm visiting my Ma next weekend for Labor Day. my not-so-little brother has his first day of high school and his first high school football game that tuesday. i'm psyched for it. how cute. so if any of you yakima people wanna chill/hang/?/eat a lotta friccan food, i'm down. just let me know.

i HATE feeling like this. i'm NEVER the one to be down about anything, nothing usually affects me in a negative way, but right now i think i'm more pissed/aggravated/bummed/WHATEVER than i've been in a LONG time.
yesterday, after 3 months of waiting to hear something, UW has denied my application because of "missing documents". SAT scores and my HS transcript. WTF is all i have to say. and HELL NO, i'm getting in.
anyways. enough of that noise.

first off....
MERRY CHRISTMAS.
LOTS of fun lately. thankfully i've gotten to spend more time with Lydia and last night we kicked it at the bowling alley. it was pretty friccan sweet. THE BABY WAS SO CUTE EEEEEEEE!!!!!! Miles and the baby... ahahahahaha. driving through all the Lake City roads that Zac and i used to drive through was weird though, i even saw his apartment and we went the exact way that he took me motorcycle driving. BUT ITS ALL ABOUT THE LADIEZ, RIGHT?!!?!?! heck yes it is. i really like chilling with Lydia, and she is hella cute when shes working. for real.
tonight we were gonna go to hooters for christmas dinner, but they closed early because nobody was there =\ so we went to the outback MMMM!!!!
( TONIGHT BASICALLY RULED. )
i get to see Tyler in less than a week!! YAAAAAAY. we will have adventures for real.

all the men of seattle should probably just go find somewhere to die.
wednesday night, while waiting for the bus in jeans and a sweater, i get asked "hey pretty lady, you lookin for a riiiiiiiiiiide somewhere?" by a old ass white guy in a cadillac ext.
today after work, two black dudes ask "hey girl, you need some meat in there?"
and who even knows what was said before wednesday. i cant friccan keep track.
O RLY??
on another note, i sent in my application to UW on wednesday night, and my 13 year old brother is on myspace trying to pick up ladies.
what now?
oh, and no i'm not a prostitute. and any rumor you may have heard about me actually being a dude, well, i hope you're not let down by the fact that they're probably not true. sorry.
